My Review:
So you’d like to read a review about Fifty Shades Darker?
Follow these easy steps:
1. First, read my review about 50 Shades of Grey here, (this is the first book in the series).
2. Now replace everything I have said with the knowledge that Christian is trying to win Ana back.

Overall experience: Not much besides the context of the relationship between Christian and Ana changes. James uses the same, awful, writing. And the reader sees Christian chasing after Ana once again. The motive is slightly different, this time it’s to win her back.
Despite this slightly snarky review. I enjoyed the second book. Yes the writing is bad, and yes there is very little character development, but Ana and Christian are one of my favourite book couples, I like how they are together as a couple, even if they don’t see it.

I also enjoy how Christian is with Ana. He’s a business man to the public but a lover when he is with Ana. It’s cute that he reserves that side of himself for her. He’s also really possessive, so if you’re into the possessive jealous boyfriend type, then you’ll love Christian.

bitch face

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weirdly sexy when men are possessive? Possessive enough for it to not be weird?

Hahaha your review was great! Short and on point! I think if people stopped taking these books so serious, they could see that it’s really quite funny sometimes. But yeah, the writing is terrible! And still SO MANY TYPOS!
About the possessive thing … I’m not a fan in real life. I knew a guy and he got really territorial, it was exhausting.

People lost their minds because of the BDSM, if they just looked at it as a love story they would probably really enjoy the book. The book is funny Ana cracked me up all the time, I have never read about a more awkward person, wow. I think I just like my fictional boyfriends to be possessive, I can see how it could possibly be exhausting.

I know! It’s quite romantic and I don’t even think it’s that explicit or shocking .. I thought it would be more weird to read.
Ana is hilarious! I laughed so much, also during the movie (which annoyed quite a lot of people who took it more serious).
It’s okay for fictional boyfriends, but in real life – no thanks! When you basically get a death stare every time you just talk to another male being, it’s no fun.

Christian is one of the most romantic guys I have read about, he’s just too sweet with Ana. I also thought it would be weird reading it, but it wasn’t. I’m not sure if that is a good or bad thing, mmm.
That definitely doesn’t sound like fun.
