Don’t let the changing season or the midweek blues get you down, grab a coat, throw on a scarf and get your wine on!
No, you don’t have to drive to the winelands or worry about mispronouncing sauvignon blanc, all you have to do is round up the gang, grab a glass, a map and be on your way this Wednesday 11 May from 5.30pm-9pm.
Tuning the Vine is keeping the wine route snug this May with stone-throw-away locations like 91 Loop, HQ, Boston, IYO Burgers, Hank’s Bar, Weinhaus & Biergarten, Charango, Bocca and The Gin Bar, as Tuning the Vine says, hop, skip and sip.
The May producers that will blow you away include Raats, The Foundry, Constantia Glen, Buitenverwachting, Grand Provence, Vergenoegd, Gabriëlskloof, Bloemendal, BioCape, Rosendal, Innis & Gunn, Crystallum, Bizoe and Waterkloof. Yip, only the best.
Maybe you like all your favourites in place? Done. Head over to 91 Loop where you can find “All things Chenin” – from Spier to DGB/Bellingham to Simonsig and a whole lot more.
Need to chew while you sip? Venues will be selling yummy sliders, chilli poppers, burgers and more!
Do you need more than a map to guide you through the world of wine? Then the Sommelier Tours are for you!
Are you as excited as the rest of the city?
Book your ticket for R150 via Quicket and don’t forget to collect your wrist bands, wine glasses and route maps from 91 Loop Boutique Hostel on the night!
Do you love competitions, great!
