My purpose in blogging:

This is such a loaded question and I feel that I need to give some deeply philosophical answer, but the truth is simple. I like to write and I like books.

I write through how I feel, what I think and why I feel and think whatever I do. Writing helps me get it out of my system and helps me gain a perspective I would not have achieved if I didn’t write it down and look at my thoughts and feelings objectively.

When I started blogging my only purpose was to express myself and share my opinion with whoever stumbled onto my blog. But that has changed over the months. I only thought about the opinion I had, but now, I constantly wonder what others think about the same book I just reviewed. I have a new purpose to connect with other book lovers from around the world and up and street cred of books.

So I guess my purpose in blogging is to connect with myself and with others through our passion for books. I didn’t really realize that until I was given this award. Thanks again!

I think I’m going to give this award to myself in a few months just to see if my purpose has changed. LOL

Answering the award question was such a great opportunity to think about my blog and why I started it, I think this is a question every blogger should answer.
